PostSubject: new tires on the kraken   Mon Dec 12, 2011 11:28 pm

I just got new falken rocky moutain ats tires in 285 75 16. And at first I was not exactly excited but I needed tires bad and this is what could afford for the time being. But then I decided to stop by the local spot to see how'd they do. And damn am I impressed. They got me through spots I could not go through before hand. They have 0 road noise from what I can tell. And zero rub with my 2.5 lift. And they do fill up the wheel well good. I think these tires are going to perform better than expected. I'm going to test this further thi weekend

You're running 33's right?
Did you order them offline or goto a shop to get em?

Got em at discount tire. I will forever get my tires there because they offer free lifetime rotation and free flat fixes including family members vehicles. And yes they are a 285 75 16 aka 33.

Yea I know the manager at mine and he took off the install and disposal fees for me. Which was only like 12 bucks but they did also take my best tire and made that my spare and then mounted all the new ones

Any savings is good!
I just gotta push work these next couple weeks so I can get the BL ordered and get it on, that way I can start looking at the 33's. I don't wanna buy the same size tire and have to wait again. The BFG AT's I got on now are barley holding on with like 10% tread left, hah.

When I was gettin my tires put on I had them check the mount of tread I had and I was at 2 percent in the front and 30 and 40 in the back but the 30 have 3 plugs and 2 patches in it. The 40 is now my spare.

Just got great new from a jeep buddy of mine. He has a xterra snorkle never used for 100 bucks. Its a sarfari so its prtty universal but his neighbor had bought it and he drove an xterra but no longer does or somethin like that. I'm not worried about the details just that its a snorkle for 100 bucks. Shit ill make some cust parts if I got to

For sure. I have to make sure it'll either be a exact fit or I can make it work with some redneck magic
