PostSubject: Rear Sway Bar   Wed Jan 18, 2012 3:55 pm

Hey,

I got an 00's X and was thinking about removing the rear sway bar. How is this going to affect my daily driving. I've seen my buddy's jeep without it and it rocks a bit on the road but his jeep is also old and beat to snot. Will I be flailing all over the place or will it only be somewhat noticeable, I mean I guess I could trial and error it and pop it off, try it and if I don't like it put it back on.

-Thanks

I took mine off and never looked back. It is noticable but for me it was a good notice. I feel like it handles smoother and ain't as stiff. I mean don't got around corners like a drifing civic although I can still take turns pretty hard when its wet just fine. To me it can't be beat. Btter on road and tons better off road. Plus I've herd the shackles on the first gen and slam against it and can cause lots of problems when offroading. But try taking it off and drivein on it and if u don't like the feel put it back on til you ging offroading

True, that's what I figured was just go for a trial and error situation. I think this weekend I'll crawl under the beast and have a go at it. haha.

They obviously had leftover material and decided it looked OK there.
